What a crazy weekend. Saturday we went to two different Easter Egg hunts and they were great. The kids had so much fun. On Sunday we went to church and then came home and Ben made rabbit. Yes rabbit. He has been wanting to try it for a long time and I finally gave in. Neither of us really liked it but it was fun to say we tried. Then we watched 'The Passion of the Christ'. I cried through the whole thing as usual. Then I made a big dinner of roasted leg of lamb, honey glazed carrots, a fruit trifle, deviled eggs and a homemade carrot cake for dessert. All in all it was pretty good.

After watching 'The Passion' it really got me thinking how lucky we are to live in this wonderful time. Things get hard for everyone and it so easy to complain but after seeing what our Savior went through for us, life seems pretty good and its easy to count my blessings. I just want to say one of the many things I am grateful for this Easter is my huge family. First I have a WONDERFUL husband. He is the best man I have ever known. He is the strongest, funniest, best friend I could ask for and an amazing Dad. I am also thankful for my Parents and my in-laws. They are both so wonderful to us and we could not have gone through school without them. I am also thankful for my extended family. My amazing sisters and brothers on both sides of the family. They are great examples to us and I miss them. We miss you all and can't wait to see you soon. I love you.

Family Picture

We have not had a really good family picture since Lincoln was born. Today we did it and here are some of the pictures that just did not make the cut.
